Young Women

We’re shouting it from the rooftops!

It is known that urinary incontinence and pelvic floor problems in young people is both underdiagnosed and under-reported. Some of us may not address the problem or seek specialist help due to embarrassment and not even knowing it’s a legit issue! We shouldn’t have to stop doing the things we love when there is help out there to improve and even stop incontinence in its tracks! No more silence!

Getting aware of our health below is what we’re about – empowering you to get a real handle on things, learn how to look after yourself and be in control!

Incontinence is preventable and treatable

Pelvic floor muscle exercises are a big part of understanding how we get familiar with how things work down below.

This includes things to do with controlling the ins and outs of our pee and poo (bladder and bowel) function and even our sexual health and function!

Incontinence and pelvic floor problems can still be experienced in similar or different ways as well as happen for a lot of different reasons — because everyone of us has our own unique story with our own experiences to match!

Go Against the Flow

Go Against the Flow (GATF) is a primary health prevention campaign to raise awareness amongst young women. GATF was started with one main goal – to let young women know about incontinence; that it does happen, but it doesn’t have to!

Like many women’s issues, there is something that can be done to treat incontinence and GAFT is a website along with our socials where young women can get important information and support. Check out more via our other Website pages and socials or get in touch below!
