Sex and UTIs – it’s a little hot down there

A little more common than you may think, probably because it’s something we feel we still can’t talk about freely, is the experience of Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs). May be even more taboo is the experience of this visitor…. after sex! With an estimated prevalence of over 150 million UTIs each year, young women come up trumps in those figures.

Harassment and abuse and the effects on our health

Calling out any bias, discrimination, violence, harassment and abuse and the effects on our health can be significant. It’s important to get an awareness and grasp how these can affect us or others we know and look to ways of always moving ahead and forward in every aspect of our lives……and that includes our pelvic floor and sexual health.
