Ginger Shot Recipe

By Greta @ VCRC
January 22, 2020

Total Prep Time 1 hour
Ingredients

  • 100 grams grated fresh ginger
  • 1 Litre water
  • 1 Tbsp Honey
  • 1 Juice of lemon
  • 1 Rosemary stick

Method:

  1. Place grated ginger and lemon juice from entire lemon in water in a saucepan
  2. Let simmer for an hour and store in a jar in the fridge for up to a month
  3. Serve with fresh rosemary and ice!

Gingerol is the main bio active compound in ginger, responsible for much of its medicinal properties. It has powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.

We recommend one shot a day to keep the cold away!
